RAATH ALONG WITH DCIX COLLABORATOR IOOCID HAVE BEEN SELECTED AMONGST THE TOP 64 PRODUCERS IN THE WORLD TO COMPETE IN SOUND SUPREMACY ENTERTAINMENT, INC.'S ANNUAL BATTLE OF THE BEAT MAKERS (BBM 2017) NOVEMBER 9TH-11TH IN TORONTO, CANADA.
Founded in 2005 by Sound Supremacy Entertainment, Inc., Battle of the Beat Makers has served as the ultimate launching pad responsible for discovering such producers as Multiple Grammy Award Winning and Diamond Selling producer Boi-1da, Grammy Award Winning producer T-Minus, Grammy Award Winning and Diamond Selling producer Nineteen85, Multiple Grammy Nominated producer Sevn Thomas, Multiple Platinum Selling producer WondaGurl, Platinum Selling producer FrancisGotHeat, and numerous others including Arthur McArthur, DZL, Big Pops, Burd & Keyz, Mvgic, Jordon Manswell, Young Martey, Chase Wav and countless others. The past couple years have been huge for music production and music producers alike as producers like Metro Boomin, Mike Will Made-It, and websites/blogs like Genius, Pigeons and Planes, Complex, and more have brought the craft to the fore-front of music listeners' attention. As conversations about ghostwriters and biting off flows has taken a back-set, fans want to know who are the people behind the beats.
And that's why this is so important....
After a screening process that has included hundreds of beats for the judges to sift through the crème de la crème have been selected to participate in the annual competition. The battle takes place over a three-day period with the main-event rounding out the competition in a knock-out style battle that seeds down the producers all the way until there are only two remaining from the 32 that make it through preliminaries.
3-Day Battle Structure
DAY 1 - NOVEMBER 9th, 2017 [LAUNCH PARTY - PRIVATE]:
All 64 Qualifying Producers and 11 Reserves must check-inProducer Lottery draw to determine each battle matchupMore TBA
DAY 2 - NOVEMBER 10th, 2017 [PRELIMINARIES - PUBLIC]:
All 64 Qualifying Producers and 11 Reserves must check-inAll Producers will battle 1 Round, based on the Lottery Draw matchupsFor each matchup, the winner of "Best of 3 Beats" moves onto the Main Event (Day 3)Producers are required to bring 3 or more beats (maximum 45 seconds in length, MP3 format)Winning producers from preliminaries will be seeded 1 - 32 based on their total score provided by music industry professionals
